4TH QUARTER

RELIGION

Our work in religion centers around Jesus' life. The children are introduced to Jesus who teaches them to love God, themselves, and others.

We learn about Jesus as a grown-up, his friends, the stories about him from the Bible, and his mother, Mary.

We continue to pray a decade of the rosary daily, with the students in our building.

READING

The children are becoming very good readers. We will continue practicing our reading skills in the areas of phonics, vocabulary, grammar, and writing.

We also enjoy many stories in our reading series, as well as for pleasure!

MATH

We will be working in the areas of Time to the hour, calendars, measurement, shapes (plane and solid), and higher numbers to 30 and beyond!!!

BEHAVIOR

The idea of working together and cooperating to solve problems with each other will be emphasized. As always, your reinforcement of these ideas is encouraged!

PARENT PROGRAM

On the last day of school the Kindergarteners will present a prayer service/program. Parents are invited to attend. Look for details coming soon!!!
